We have been trying to settle my mother's estate since July with the Pembroke, Ontario branch. We had an appointment with her advisor who said the Estate Department would handle this. We have hear nothing since then. I have written several emails and have been told this would be escalated ... but stil NOTHING!! All other institutions have paid out funds from the estate - even the Goverment of Canad has sent her death benefit, but not ONE single communication from Scotia Bank.
