Worst branch of Scotia I have visited so far. There were two teller ladies over the counter, one of the lady who sits to right side, she gave me horrible service. I wanted to make a transfer and she said in return there is no guarantee the money will reach to your account in Abroad as its riskier nowadays!! Experience at Scotiabank I am extremely disappointed with the recent service I received at Scotiabank. The staff, including the manager, did not seem to have the proper knowledge to resolve the Issue. I was first told the matter could be handled over the phone, but then I was instructed to visit the branch in person and then asked to visit home branch. I was at this branch this afternoon to pick up US currency that I ordered last week, there were only 2 tellers at counter who took more than 1hr/customer, branch manager showed up and I ask her if she can have more tellers to help, instead of answer my questions she asked me if I was her what I can do if there are only 4 tellers and 2 are taking Lunch, I said "that question is for you, not for me". This is our home branch. We have been banking with this branch since 2023 and have no complaints. All our phone calls were returned promptly and emails replied in a timely manner. Our financial advisor, Nandhini Murali, is very professional, knowledgeable and has excellent customer relations skills. In our previous branch in Markham Main, we have dealt with at least 3 Financial Advisors & only one showed the same professionalism, knowledge and customer service skills as Nandhini.
