Not worth relying on this bank or their management; They may not care. The Manager Wont respond to their email. Ignoring and ghosting are the Management teams expertise. In accurate credit reporting; I had to suffer Thanks to Scotiabank. An below average bank. Canada needs better banks meant for evolving people to succeed financially, not just for Banks to profit.
A relative sent me a US money draft from London Ontario. It is a TD draft non-negotiable deposited through Scotiabank of London Ontario. It has been since 2 Oct 2025 and the money neither reached me nor sent back to sender. The draft cheques was deposited in my account on 2 Oct 2025, then it was withdrawn / returned by Scotiabank Merivale Branch Ottawa on 9 Oct 2025 without clarifying the reason. If i could rate 1 star, I most certainly would. The manager at this location, female has to be one of the rudest individuals I have ever come across. I overheard her addressing a client and she was rude, definitely lacked in customer service. My wife and I couldn't believe how she spoke to this individual. Showing absolutely no regard, 0 customer service skills. We are certainly considering moving our investments to another institution! Shame on you!!!!!
Tried to get my grandmas will done and they had no idea what they were doing even when my forms tell me to come to Scotia and to put the forms in transit through them. The employees are actually clueless
