The ScotiaBank phone system is utterly horrible. If you want to call your branch you have to wait for a centralized system (20 min +) wait and then likely find out that it is still impossible to talk to someone at the branch itself
As someone else reviewed here... the branch itself is great - nice helpful people. But if you actually want to avoid a drive in to town and try calling the branch directly... lord help you. You will get redirected to a central call centre where you will wait 20+mins to get someone who says: why didn't you call the branch directly (and when given a "direct" number, it turns out the extension they provided isn't valid)? I would rather deal with Rogers on the phone than Scotia - I don't remember Scotia being so horrible a few y... read more
