Unfortunately, like most people have posted. My biggest concern is the time you spend waiting in line for a teller. There might be 8 employees in the branch but only 2 capable tellers. I’m no rocket scientist , but if you cross train your staff they would be able to help out in areas during peak times, so if the tellers are busy, that’s where they are helping out and if the customer service reps for other services are busy and tellers not so much that’s where they go and so forth. I had an absolutely excellent experience at the Scotiabank. Jas helped out out and his service was extremely professional, polite, and my transaction was done in a matter of minutes. I highly recommend.
I needed to set up a new account with a different bank for personal reasons, so I didn't online. Then once that was sorted, I recieved an email stating I had to go into a branch to show proof that I am who I am, understandable! But while I was there, you would think that they would ACTUALLY set up my card! Instead, I got home with my new account, and new card from my new bank... I had a very disappointing experience at this Scotiabank branch when I visited to request a simple balance letter (just one page). I was informed there would be a $15 charge for this document. As a loyal customer who already pays regular account fees, I was surprised and disappointed that this fee could not be waived—especially since this was the first time I had ever requested such a document.
