This is horrible. Dealing with them has been the bane of my existence. My mom passed away and to take care of anything in going to have to go in there and yell at people. They won't book an appointment without doing it online. To book online, it would be a week away and this needs to get done. Tried chat and had to download app, and need account number and password that is not available. Ridiculous!
Sad to see the doors are locked so use of ATM is no longer a convenience, but more, sad to see as a society we won't even allow basic shelter to the homeless. I guess they are below sleeping on hard tiled floor and under fluorescent lighting
The loans officer looked like they just got up from a college frat party. Seemed disinterested in our loan application, might have been the lack of common curiosity eg. Started with a wave from the office door with a call of my wife's first name. No , my name is , hand shake, what can we help with today, . Just hands on a keyboard stare at the screen and snap quick questions.
Provided bad advice. Very unresponsive. Severely unprepared for basic things. They do not follow up on items they say they will.
I was hoping to keep my mortgage business with Scotia, unfortunately, local branch folks were not as friendly as prior Scotia branches that i dealt with. I was completely embarrassed and kind-of humiliated, nevertheless, i tried/pursued to keep the mortgage with Scotia hoping to avoid discharge penalty.
