This branch has the most incompetent staff. You have a small business adviser Warren Holness who never answers his phone, voicemails, and emails about an issue that I was supposed to get an answer in three days after meeting and it’s been over 1 month. Then you have incompetent bank tellers whose English spelling and grammar are horrible and spending nearly an hour to complete a wire and making mistakes that causes major inconveniences. I would avoid this branch at all costs.

Absolutely awful experience at this branch. The young woman at the front desk was rude and dismissive, acting as though helping customers was a burden and she was doing me a favour. If you hate your job and dislike dealing with people, you shouldn’t be in customer service. To be fair, the teller I interacted with was very nice, which was the only positive aspect of my visit.

Disappointing Experience with Hamilton Branch I'm very unhappy with the service at the Hamilton Scotiabank branch. I visited multiple times and called, but couldn't resolve my issue with transferring money between accounts. The staff wasn't helpful, and the managers weren't there. Ever since the Westdale branch closed its doors for banking purposes this location is constantly packed. I see line ups to the door. I see customers walking out the door due to long wait times. I see minimal tellers open to accommodate the overflow of customers from westdale. I see myself taking my funds out of this bank and going elsewhere for these reasons.
