Had a poor experience with Neelam Grover… felt unwelcomed the second we stepped in her office. Made comments about sounding unrealistic when we explained our employment and housing, Yes working full time and running a business in this economy is realistic. She made comments how we didn't need to make an appointment with her as we could ask front desk. Not true as we were updating a lot of information. The financial advisor Neelam Grover. She is the most rude advisor I have ever seen. She doesn’t want to do anything. Asking too many questions which were not related to our appointment. Zero customer service. Rest of the staff are always nice.
I visited the Tsawwassen branch for a simple request and was shocked by how poor the service was. The staff were openly rude and unhelpful, particularly the employee (lady) in the first office. This wasn’t just a bad day — it felt like a culture problem. Management should seriously look into what’s happening at this location.
This was by far the worst customer service experience I’ve had. I’ve dealt with multiple banks and even other Scotiabank branches, and I’ve never encountered this level of passive-aggressive and dismissive behavior. The staff made it feel like they were doing me a favor rather than simply doing their job. Customer service is supposed to make clients feel valued-this did the opposite. Incredibly sad to hear about the person who had their card skimmed. Truthfully, I had a very positive experience with depositing with the Branch Manager. Mr. Phillips helped me strategize to maximize the bonus interest rate while keeping things flexible for possible changes during that time. He was quick to respond to questions and knew a lot more about the financial services than the call centre. Appreciated his help!
