Incredibly sad to hear about the person who had their card skimmed. Truthfully, I had a very positive experience with depositing with the Branch Manager. Mr. Phillips helped me strategize to maximize the bonus interest rate while keeping things flexible for possible changes during that time. He was quick to respond to questions and knew a lot more about the financial services than the call centre. Appreciated his help!

Very disappointing experience at Scotiabank. I have been going to this branch for over three years to get coin rolls. Initially, the tellers were always polite, helpful, and never even asked for my card. Later, the policy changed to requiring a Scotiabank account, which I have, so I always presented my card and continued to receive rolls without any issue. Worst bank in the western hemisphere they ARE outright crooks allowed someone to steal $ 38,000 from my account from a skimmed card even though they are required to reimburse me they chose not to nobody holds them accountable your money is definitely not safe in this bank an important heads up from me !
