I tried to speak to someone about an online account issue. I called and spoke to someone in another country who had no clue, so I decided to call my local branch. I called before the closing time but was put through to someone, again in another part of the world, who explained my local branch was closed. Not according to their hours posted online. What a waste of time.
This Bank really requires (New Bank machines ) I'm sure they are from 1999 they are always broken down or have no money. Over the years I have had to withdraw money from Co-op or other institutions that charge me up to 5 dollars (yes they will reimburse you but spend another 5 bucks driving back to the bank and 15 minutes of my time. And it's a weekly or bi-weekly thing. I have called and complained. We are considering moving our funds after 40 years of being with this institution. Enough is enough. Ron
Zero Stars. Worst customer experience. Zero help from anyone at the branch. No one knows how to actually do their job. Would not recommend this branch or scotia bank to anyone. Go elsewhere.
Poor management. Terrible customer service. I do not recommend going to this bank. My elderly Mom called me sobbing because of her horrible experience at this branch. She waited in line for almost 30 minutes before being helped by a trainee who had no senior staff assisting her. The trainee couldn't answer simple questions about email vs post mail paper bank statements, and couldn't figure out how to print my Mom's bank statements for her. 0 stars. I wear my hood everywhere i go, it is a hat and allows me too feel comfortable in public areas. I assume what was the manager of the bank approached me after 5-10 minutes of me standing there asking me to take my hood off because I am in a bank. I was not trying to hide my face nor do I feel that I needed to take my hood off.
