Doesn't even deserve one star. I will never bank with scotia again because of this branch. Empty promises. They allowed overdraft on my account and sadi they could not return the charge. They said they would but a hold on any debits and they did not apply it. I didn't even have overdraft. So I had to pay the charge amd when all the other debits came thru that added up to alot they had no issue nsf ot back. Liars. The manager never returned my call. Terrible bank. Not helpful at all and you need appointments for everything simple no other bank I've used is this bad. I don't suggest trying to contact them by phone either, once you spend 10 minutes being moved around or experiencing a language barrier the person you try to reach doesn't answer the phone anyway. Should be voted the most useless bank around.
After having had a number of negative experiences at Scotiabank over the years, my last visit was one which I count myself lucky to have had. Johnson was warm, knowledgeable and couldn’t have been more helpful. He had a sincere investment in both our financial wellbeing at the bank, as well as our comfort and the quality of experience in the branch. omg thank god for B he was totally able to calm me and center me today what a nightmare I used to go to the Scotia Bank in lumby the girls were always friendly and quick then Scotia closed it So I have been dealing with the Scotia in Vernon across from the village green mall Since day one there's been a issue with one teller never counting your money just putting it a envelope and giving it to you and being unbelievably slow. and defintajey not like girls from Lumby or the amazing staff at the Scotia in Nelson The other two ... read more
