Very disappointed in this branch, they have messed me around for months when dealing with closing out my grandma’s estate. They are incompetent, and I will not be returning to this branch. Rishabh Sharma in particular was extremely disrespectful and unprofessional today. The customer service representative Ferrah was really helpful in assisting me. She listened and took the time to go through everything with me to help me with my request. This branch deserves a higher rating!
I couldn't believe the amount of disrespect and blatant disregard for human decency at this branch. I can't believe the amount of times I was deadnamed, misgendered and made to feel like an other. I've always valued the message of inclusivity at Scotiabank but this time. I genuinely wanted to close my account. Despite me correcting the teller and the teller being corrected by her supervisor, she continued to deadname me and refer to me with the wrong pronouns and name on purpose.
