I would never bank at this place. I was forced into the branch to make a loan payment as it was possible to do it online or by phone - despite the instructions that indicated otherwise. The people working here are so unprofessional and inefficient. Took way longer than it should have to do a very basic transaction, I had to insist on a proper receipt to give me some verification of the transaction and ended up with some hand written paper that a five year old could have written better - the greasy manager was rude, unhelpful... read more

I had an absolutely terrible experience at this Scotiabank branch. Over $1,400 was taken from my account as a debit memo, and when I called customer service, they told me to go to the branch because they couldn’t figure out where the money went. After waiting in line at the branch, they couldn’t explain it either and just gave me a new debit card, telling me to call the fraud department again.
