*EDIT*. I CLOSED MY ACCOUNTS WITH SCOITA. Zero stars is the more accurate rating. I have suffered a loss in my family, resulting in us being in a very low situation, having to close my business do to legal proceedings etc etc being the executor of a will. More then once now, scotiabank specifically this branch has frozen my accounts without any notice, resulting in payments taken out. Now my ENTIRE savings is Frozen. I would never bank at this place. I was forced into the branch to make a loan payment as it was possible to do it online or by phone - despite the instructions that indicated otherwise. The people working here are so unprofessional and inefficient. Took way longer than it should have to do a very basic transaction, I had to insist on a proper receipt to give me some verification of the transaction and ended up with some hand written paper that a five year old could have written better - the greasy manager was rude, unhelpful... read more
