This is the worst bank to deal with. Paid off two loans months ago and nothing was sent to the registry. This is holding up a large business deal. Totally incompetent staff and branch manager is of no help. Have been dealing with Scotia Bank for over 40 years. Have left messages, logged complaint and nothing has been dealt with. Try RBC or CIBC save yourself the headache.
Manager at this bank should be fired! Got into an argument with her over depositing my money. So I left bank 20 mins later tried to use my card and ( MEGAN BANK MANAGER) went into my account and chanced all my limits out of pure revenge! Worst bank in the city! Taking legal action against bank and Manager( Megan). I hope in writing this it stops anyone from considering a account at this crime institution!!

Incredibly poor service. Wouldn't give change for $20 for someone who doesn't have an account with them, and yet I could use their ATM and pay their service fees for the ability to do so. I am so glad I pulled my business from ScotiaBank years ago. Now I won't even use their ATM machines. What are they even paying their employees for?
They seem to struggle with simple things. Investment help is poor at best. I like scotia so I just moved branches and took my investments to a real financial advisor who follows up. Just my experience maybe yours is better.
