The staff here are so slow!
Unbelievable. I have no idea why my father would want to deal with a bank with such poor service as the Scotiabank. Beddington and Willowbrook mall in Langley. I am the POA for my father and nothing but runarounds and no replies to emails or calls back. Simple transactions take weeks. Simple set ups of accounts AFTER being provided proper documentation... you guessed it, weeks. and the most annoying part is again, no replies. Very bad service. The front desk staff really don’t know how to deal with people.
I have had two teller contacts and three in-person appointments with senior advisors, and never had I come away satisfied. Not even with basic questions answered. "I'm not good at math" is not something I wanted to hear from a banking advisor.
The branch manager is awful. Will threaten you with collections ($17 fee) for wanting to cancel your account. Called and got it cancelled for free and no attitude.
