Can't say enough negatively about this place and scotiabank in general but my experience at this branch was particularly poor. Long story short a financial advisor put money places and I understood for the most part but my knowledge of tax rules with TFSA's wasn't up to knowledge. Financial advisor overcontributed to TFSA and i had to pay thousands to the CRA which I am working on hopefully having relieved as a mistake by CRA. If you are a tourist in Calgary and need a cash transaction, FIND ANOTHER BRAND OF BANK. Unless you bank there, you will not be served. I am accustomed to credit unions serving only their members. THIS IS A BANK, why are they allowed to not serve the public?
