AVOID this branch, they do not even know their own policies. I will strictly be dealing with the downtown location from now on. After yet another ridiculously poor customer service experience today, they almost lost me as a customer. Lucky for them staff at the King St. location were able to promptly fix their mistake.
I’ve been using this branch for about 5 years now. The tellers are very kind and try to be as helpful as possible. There are always things that are out of their control. But I’ve always found them to do their best when I’ve gone. Appreciate them.
Sure glad I changed banks to Scotia- NOT. Does the broad at the front desk ever call back? It's been 3 days, 3 messages and nothing back. The customer service line has wait times of over an hour most times. What happened to them being grateful for our money? Scotiabank is truly awful. I'm disabled and don't leave home often. They don't seem to give a $ hit. Nice eh? Do yourself a favour and go elsewhere to bank. The BOTHER at Scotiabank isnt worth iit.UPDATE: I am still not able to get through. This is May 2026. Dreadful.
Terrible service with attitude and unwilling to help people. I feel i am so lucky i was not customer in here, i will never be a customer in Scotia Bank in the future. Thank you for the experience
I never had a problem with any of the tellers but this one particular lady. I had an account for a few years and try to avoid her at all costs because of her behaviour. She always makes banking difficult when I go to her. She makes it seem like when I ask her for a withdrawal or print out statements she scoffs like I am making her do something that she does not want to do.
