all the managers including miru kevin and zaki are all fantastic and ready to help when needed! fantastic branch and great energy!
I live in Bowmanville but refuse (even though I was approached by the Manager) to make this my home bank. The staff is incompetent, and in some cases very rude. They forget that one day they will be a senior person, and I hope they get everything they deserve and then some for the "snotty attitude" they have.
I'm giving 1 star only because I can't give zero or negative stars. Scotiabank in bowmanville accepted christmas and birthday cheque's written by me to my trans grandchild (in her new name, not realizing it's not legal yet) - they processed the cheque's and then put a hold on them 4 months ago. The money is gone from my account but still on hold in my grandchilds account and they refuse to reverse them.
If I could give 0 stars, I would. As a small business owner unable to deposit US cheques online, I am forced to go to the branch. Being a busy mom and entrepreneur it's already challenging to find time, but during a recent attempt, while the bank was "open," I was greeted by an employee telling me they cannot help me as it is "digital day."
