this branch staff is scammers Very poor customer service. I was charged $40 just to close my account, which was never clearly explained upfront. and after all she still didn’t close my account i come back and they charged me again 39$ really the staff and this bank are scammers

My mom recently had her bag stolen, which included her phone, ID, and bank cards. We went to the Scotiabank branch in Ajax and received exceptional help from Michelle and Rose. Rose was so kind and helped replace my mom’s bank cards right away, and Michelle patiently guided us through filing the dispute for the unauthorized transaction made by the thief. We truly appreciate their professionalism and support during such a stressful situation. Thank you, Michelle and Rose, for going above and beyond
