I had a bit of a run around with trying to locate my line of credit card. The teller went above and beyond, he was so kind and helpful and kept keeping me informed with what was happening. Very friendly service. Would definitely recommend this branch for amazing service.
Asked for 1 cheque or “draft” had to answer several questions to get verified only to be told to come into the bank so much time wasted for nothing. Then she called me unprofessional after I didn’t swear or anything I simply asked 1 question what was the purpose of all that verifying not nessasary when u could just say come in and we give you one. Name was Valentina or valentine something idk. Lousy service just waste time and disrespect you when they put on the spot.
Basic account - First Nations fee exemption. Starting December 2025 all First Nations pay no banking fees until December 2026. Make sure to inform Scotiabank you are indigenous for 2026 First Nations banking fees exemption. Also you may have to continue going into Scotiabank every month to have the bank fee exemption applurd as I do.
