I've visited this bank several times - overall, the staff work well: they're polite, helpful, and explain everything clearly. However, the experience is completely ruined by the manager. Their behavior is extremely unprofessional - rude, arrogant, and unwilling to actually help or understand the client's issue. It feels like they simply don't care. It's a shame, because the rest of the staff really try their best, but one manager's attitude leaves a very negative impression of the entire bank.
I have been banking with scotia for quite some time now. Unfortunately, today was not a good experience for me. I will not get into, details, but I will say that the way myself and the teller was treated by the bank manager was inappropriate and unprofessional. It really set my day off.
I’ve banked at this branch for almost 10 years and have had such a good experience. It’s surprising to me to see bad reviews. If the majority of the people who use this bank left a review it would be 4.9. The .1 of the people who use this bank that have left negative reviews doesn’t reflect the actual experience. Always parking. Charging station in parking lot. Friendly staff. Thank you for all you do.
I moved from Saskatchewan to Ottawa. My line of credit card was frozen without any reason. Here in Ottawa I visited many Scotia bank branches but they were not shut out the problem. But one time I met with Patricia Lejour at Main Street Branch Ottawa she solved everything. She was amazing and roaring with her passion and determination. Thank you so much Patricia.
