Worst customer service ever. Will not be banking with them anymore.
Some staff in the online department won’t want to help you, but will keep transferring calls to random people and waste your time and company time—complete frustration at times.
Went in today for an appointment where the advisor couldn't make due to illness. There was poor communication from the Scotiabank team online and this branch to set up the appointment time (not really the branches fault). But when I came in, I spoke with an advisor who went out of his way to make sure we set up another appointment immediatley. He spent 10-30 minutes personally working with me when he didn't have to, to make sure I had my questions answered and an appointment booked. I can see the effort! 5/5 stars.

I've visited this bank several times - overall, the staff work well: they're polite, helpful, and explain everything clearly. However, the experience is completely ruined by the manager. Their behavior is extremely unprofessional - rude, arrogant, and unwilling to actually help or understand the client's issue. It feels like they simply don't care. It's a shame, because the rest of the staff really try their best, but one manager's attitude leaves a very negative impression of the entire bank.
