I recently had an account adjustment to be done. I visited the branch and was assisted by Jamie H. He is a very knowledgeable banker and explained the various options I had as a customer. Normally this is not the case at other branches and hence Jamie stands out in his role. Keep up the good work!
Scotiabank is so poorly run. I swear every worker makes up their own policies. I had so many issues trying to get a bank statement for my savings account. (apparently that’s not something you can do) I needed to make a payment of $3000 and was told at a different Scotiabank that I needed to raise my limit and only my home branch can do that. Horrible bank horrible entitled staff who don't know how to provide customer service at all never use this stingy bank
The only good experience I've had here is the day i opened my first account. Tried to get my mortgage here years ago but the advisor provided went MIA and never returned my calls or emails. I gave them a chance to make it up on renewal but it was a similar experience. Changes were discussed on an account that were never completed... the excuse of the day was you were here discussing your mortgage... well yea but we also discussed this account... You said you could do this.... This location is unreliable and cant be trusted!
The interaction I’ve had with staff has been fine. But I’m confident these are the worst ABMs in the country. Continuously rejected bills when deposited, don’t have the denomination I want, and frequently deposit is not even available.
