They pulled a hard credit check even though I told them I didn’t want to apply for a credit card. The person I spoke to also asked me if I was an international student three times after they were in my account and had already seen my Canadian passport
Just for record, if you want to close your account, remember to close as the sameday as you transfer out, otherwise will need to pay a fee for being ZERO balance ( Tuesday transferred out and Friday come to branch to close my account, unfortunately need to pay a fee for account closure) good luck
If you are considering coming here for a mortgage run really fast the other way. I have had the worst experience of my life this year with this branch. I wouldn’t even have given them one star but I had to give them at least one to write my review. Seriously people run like it’s the Walking Dead come to life
