They post foreign exchange rates on their website daily, then fail to honour those rates. Apparently the rates change so often they need to charge more in the branch than what's on the website because their 'system' demands it, but the same system can't possibly update the website more than once per day.
The service is so slow and there is only one single cashier on such a busy day as in friday. And cashier also is busy gossiping with he people instead of thinking that people in the line also have to return to work and they are already getting so late.
Worst banking experience I've had at any Scotiabank location. Unhelpful and undertrained staff started interjecting in a conversation, completely misidentifying my issues and offering resolutions that were not applicable.
Teller hours not kept up to date on Google, and are unreasonably restrictive. Given that two bank employees were assigned to greet clients in lobby, it’s certainly not a staffing issue. If you choose to bank here, be aware teller hours are only from 10am-3pm.
They went out of their way to set up my new accounts quickly and the service was fantastic. Every time I asked about something like cheques or credit cards or another account the response wasn't "you can do that online", the response was "I can do that for you right now". Lori is who helped me. Really, fantastic. Thank you for simply trying to make your customer's lives easier!
