I had a very good experience today at the Bridlewood branch. I have 4 business accounts, a personal chequing account, ScotiaMcLeod investment accounts, and credit card accounts. The teller who served me, whose name is Ruba, was very professional, patient and helpful with a fairly complex transactions, performed my transactions with a warm, friendly smile. She's probably headed for a management position.
Customer service is horrible here. I asked for mortgage advice and was provided with 2 conflicting opinions by two people. They don’t know what they’re doing. I also asked them how to apply for a home line of credit. The guy just printed out some info sheet from the website and never bothered asking if I want to schedule an appointment to go through with the process. They don’t really care about individual customers. Avoid at all cost.
In my understanding, when a bank customer has any problems with his card or account, he can come to any branch of the bank and solve this issue, and they, if they can not solve this issue, make and send the appropriate request to the service that should deal with it. Having been in this branch last time such a request was created and the problem was solved. Giving this a 1 star review because that’s all I can give. I am absolutely disgusted with this place. I had made an appointment for 11am today mind you I had gone in person to make this appointment a week before so there was no issues at all. Today I was called 2 hours before my appointment and was told they double booked my time and that the other person has “more” priority over me so they tried to force me to cancel my appointment for today saying I wouldn’t be able to be seen and to rebook next week. I wish there was zero instead of one star for the review. Poor customer service and highly inexperienced employees. Never got done anything right by them.
