Never enough tellers working for the amount of customers.
Branch Manager decided to freeze my account and email me rather than call me and explain a policy that would have been easily explained and solved WITH A PHONE CALL.
Worst customer service ever. They won't get back to customers. The financial advisor's only focus is on building the sales of their mutual funds. I don't know why they call them financial advisors. If customers have any other requirement they have no clue how to handle it and won't get back and leave the customer in dark.
I have been a Scotiabank customer for over 45 years and am seriously considering leaving. Not sure why they won't answer their phones at a branch, instead the voice mail says you'll receive "immediate assistance" if you want to reach the call centre. Nope, a minimum 20 minute wait. Hmm, tells me there are a LOT of unsatisfied customers. I wanted one simple question answered and will not waste my time waiting to talk to someone about it - I"ll go elsewhere and maybe take my business with me.
