Worst customer service ever. They won't get back to customers. The financial advisor's only focus is on building the sales of their mutual funds. I don't know why they call them financial advisors. If customers have any other requirement they have no clue how to handle it and won't get back and leave the customer in dark.
I have been a Scotiabank customer for over 45 years and am seriously considering leaving. Not sure why they won't answer their phones at a branch, instead the voice mail says you'll receive "immediate assistance" if you want to reach the call centre. Nope, a minimum 20 minute wait. Hmm, tells me there are a LOT of unsatisfied customers. I wanted one simple question answered and will not waste my time waiting to talk to someone about it - I"ll go elsewhere and maybe take my business with me.
Can't even use their atm inside after they are closed since the cleaning lady locks the doors.
Two days ago l asked for my account statement. From January 2021 to date They promised to send me email, within 24 hours till now am waiting .!!!!!!!
Worst cash back experience on Scotia Momentum® Visa Infinite* Card. You can cash back only once a year. Now, they even require you to book an appointment and go to the branch in person when you just need to change the credit card, because they want you to spent your time listen some advice about investment. Very disappointed about this experience. For their own purposes, they do not hesitate to waste customers' precious time.
