Went on Friday afternoon to get American money for my trip. The bank was closed at 3pm due to lack of staff. What a joke this bank.had to drive to carbonear to the scotia bank to get my money.
This place is IMPOSSIBLE to deal with. Been trying to open REPSs for my kids for almost four months. One of the senior advisors I dealt with is extremely rude and abrasive blaming staff shortages due to stressful working conditions and her unfamiliarity with the branch's software for her lack of follow through. She didn't even know how to schedule an appointment for me. Management's response was useless. I was able to open RESPs with RBC within three hours and will be cancelling all my accounts with Scotiabank asap. Obviousl... read more

This place is impossible to deal with. Been trying to open REPSs for my kids for many months. I can’t contact the branch directly and not able schedule an appointment using the app. Hoping a manager can help me out
