Horrible. Applied for a passport credit card, the process of which itself was a nightmare. Finally getting it approved, they didn’t send it to me, yet billed me for the start up fee. Had to call and request it multiple times, for them to finally send it. Activating it was unnecessarily difficult. FINALLY, after spending enough for the bonus points reward, nothing. Trying to follow up with Carlo, my “financial advisor” at the bank, cannot get a response. Unprofessional, unethical, use Scotiabank at your own peril…
Good luck trying to call a Scotia branch. If you figure out how to get through to one without having a direct phone number for a current employee, let me know 🤬🤬🤬🤬 This is a huge reason why I’m ditching big Canadian banks.

If you’ve already waited more than 2 hours for help, fine, but don’t waste even a second with SIMA. She’s the definition of terrible customer service: helpless, rude, and with an attitude worse than you’d see in a fight. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH SIMA. Big NO to SIMA. Again , BIG NO TO SIMA
Been there for second time and they wasted my time about over 30 minutes on the bank draft!!!!
