Echoing the earlier sentiments on Sima. I have had two interactions with her, both equally frustrating, she has no customer personality, talking down to you like she is doing you a favour. She is totally not suited to a customer service role. Scotia Branch Manager, perhaps re-assign her to a non customer facing role. Not a good ambassador for the brand. Horrible. Applied for a passport credit card, the process of which itself was a nightmare. Finally getting it approved, they didn’t send it to me, yet billed me for the start up fee. Had to call and request it multiple times, for them to finally send it. Activating it was unnecessarily difficult. FINALLY, after spending enough for the bonus points reward, nothing. Trying to follow up with Carlo, my “financial advisor” at the bank, cannot get a response. Unprofessional, unethical, use Scotiabank at your own peril…
