Huge thanks to Carson Liu aka Zhenkang Liu for helping me set up my first bank account in Canada. He was incredibly kind and took the time to explain all the details to me. Even though our appointment ran late and the branch was closing, he never rushed me and made sure everything was set up properly. He even helped me with my first credit card application the following week. I had a great experience and highly recommend Carson and this branch!
Worst banking experience ever. Rude staff members. Just when I want to give it another chance, something else comes up. Save yourself time and avoid dealing with this bank and branch at all cost.
Scotia is the most frustrating bank I have ever worked with. Avoid at all costs. Other banks like TD just make life easier while Scotia seems on a mission to make any task as difficult as possible. Especially this branch. If you like pain, then by all means, Scotia is for you. But if you want a bank that works for you, I highly recommend anywhere else.
Blatantly lie to clients, not just myself. Told me that a money order could be cashed by anyone despite being made out to a specific strata. Just seems like staff are clueless. First time in band I saw 2 staff trying to tell a man he couldn't switch banks, as if it wasn't his money..
Send you in circles. Stuff in branch say you need to call. Phone service says must be done in branch.
