Customer- service is not that friendly when compared to many other banks in town.
Went in yesterday and spoke with Kristene about my accounts. She was fantastic and got everything going correctly and even advised on what not to do, or else it could give me some troubles. That is what I expect from a bank! Someone that can tell me the pitfalls before they happen as I am not an expert in banking. Thank you for solving problems that I didn't even know I had, Kristene!
TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. If there was a zero rating, that'd be selected. 1.5 years of hell dealing with this branch - including compromised PII, changes to our account without authorization, cancelled LOC without notice or authorization (deemed as banking rep error) and countless other items that has equated to pure frustration in every & all interactions with this branch. I had a very disappointing experience at Scotiabank. I was charged monthly fees and transaction fees that I did not expect. When I went to the branch to ask for clarification and reimbursement, I was initially told it was *my* fault — even though I was confident I had not made a mistake. Only after checking the details did they admit it was *actually their error*.
