Big yikes with this location. Our experience with the Cochrane Scotiabank branch has been exceptionally disappointing. The attitude and level of condescension we experienced from teller Sarah, Branch Manager Kristene, and Assistant Branch Manager Tara was honestly remarkable. Interactions came across as arrogant, dismissive, and as though customers were an inconvenience rather than the reason the branch exists. I visited this branch twice while completing paperwork for my first home purchase. During my first visit, I came in to deposit a bank draft for my home purchase. I found the service dismissive, and the representative was not very friendly. On my second visit, I returned to request a copy of my deposit record after misplacing my receipt. The same representative told another employee to assist me and initially said the record could not be provided. Dealt with this bank for the first (and last time) this week. Our mortgage is with Scotiabank and I had gone in to this branch to let them know I needed to update my bank details for the upcoming payment. I was told it was too late because Scotia requests the funds 4-5 days prior to it coming out. Was advised to come in with cash on Thursday, July 2nd morning (as obviously July 1 is Canada Day).
