The slowest Scotia I have ever been to. It feels like they are understaffed, underappreciated and unhappy. Difficult to reach anyone by email and/or phone. Calling 1800 is no better - insane wait times! It is unfortunate, as I have been with Scotia for over 30 years easily!
Terrible bank would not recommend to bank here , waste of time.
I had a very disappointing experience at this branch. I felt that the staff were not willing to help me and treated me differently from other customers. Based on how I was treated, I left with the impression that I may have been treated unfairly because I am not white. Whether intentional or not, the service made me feel unwelcome and disrespected. I hope the bank takes customer service and concerns about fair treatment seriously so that everyone is treated with respect, regardless of their background
I would like to share my recent experience at a Scotiabank branch in Cornwall. My wife and I travelled from Montreal specifically to report fraudulent activity on her credit card. We were already dealing with a stressful situation, and unfortunately our experience with one employee did not reflect the level of professionalism and empathy that customers expect during such circumstances.
