Absolutely pathetic. Tried to make a deposit in the bank machine, as I can’t handle standing in line with the turtle mode tellers , always yapping and chatting with customers , at least 5 people waiting. So while I tried to deposit my cash, the machine got stuck, took my money and card. I proceeded into the bank a bit overwhelmed, as I had a lot of cash on hand. Anyone Don’t even think of banking with scotiabank anymore. This branch issued a card under my name to someone else impersonating me - by which they were able to get money out of my account. This is everyone’s worst nightmare, but happened with me in real. I’m not sparing Scotiabank for this big irresponsible practice. Teller and manager name is being kept confidential..
ALWAYS, slow service. Here's an idea, have someone at the middle desk, which is always empty, and when a customer comes to the teller and it's going to be 10-20 minutes, direct them to the other desk, instead of everyone else waiting to make a 1-2 minute transaction!!!! My goodness it's not like the bank doesn't make enough money to afford good/timely customer service!

Trying to deal with a human at this branch is useless. Had to leave work early to go to the branch because the assistant manager didn't have 3 minutes to return my call, responding to the message she left me. I was assured the problem was solved while there. Check my account 3 hours later and still 1600 short. Of course this branch isn't open Saturday so I'll have to loose more time off work to again physically go to the bank because they do not answer or return calls.
