I'm inspired to write this review in particular due to the excellent service I have received from advisor Ryan Granger who had been looking after my dad's Scotia accounts until his recent passing. Ryan has been very responsive, pleasant and highly accommodating at every point, which has helped ease the burden of dealing with estate matters. I should add that Scotia in general has been the most effective and organized bank to deal with in this regard.

Horrible bank. Nobody knows how to do their job. Won’t return.
Absolutely deplorable service. I have my business account with this bank. When ordering cheques, they made the mistake and I ended up paying for both orders of cheques. When I went into the bank to explain the situation, I was basically told it was my fault, it's a third party and there is nothing they can do, and too bad, so sad. I followed up with emails to the business advisor and the branch manager and have received no responses. Bottom line, they do not care about their customers, just your money.
