Very bad experience, the lady with red hair at the teller was very rude and didn’t want to do her job and sent me away very badly. Go somewhere else
⚠️ Warning: Do NOT trust this bank! ⚠️ My partner became a victim of fraud and Scotiabank did absolutely nothing to help recover the stolen money. Meanwhile, TD Bank refunded the same fraudulent transactions without any issue because they recognized the account was compromised. Scotiabank’s fraud protection is weak, their customer service is unhelpful, and they blame the customer instead of taking responsibility. One of the better Scotiabank experiences I’ve had over the years was coming here for a draft to pay off my house. My normal branch was terrible and this was close enough to the lawyers office. Took a few minutes, people were nice and it was easy. No issues.
The worst bank on the planet. I went in for a simple letter stating that my Scotiabank credit card was compromised and because of this, its been cancelled. Scotiabank called me saying someone was trying to take out thousand's using my card. It wasnt me so they declined all transactions going forward. I went in for this letter that the branch HAS to provide. And they refused. The branch manager was extremely unprofessional. He was sitting behind the desk on his phone.
