It is absolutely brutal that a person can't contact a person at the branch directly.. The call goes to the call center.. I have a hold that has been on my account for 15 days past my visit to the branch to resolve the issue in person.. Avoid Scotia bank as thwre is no longer a (Human side).

Since moving our mortgage to Scotia Bank 4 years ago, they have failed to pay our property taxes 3 years running, drawn money from our account to pays the associated fees, and locked the account after their own system mistakenly tried to draw funds on the wrong date. When we attempt to call or speak with someone we are instead sent on a odyssey through Call Center Hell. It has been a very poor banking experience.
I was upset that they charged $15 for immigration letter where as other bank gave me for free.
Such rude customer service.
