Had to go to BMO to get an account after a very frustrating time with Scotiabank. After a very frustrating time with Scotiabank. They were very negligent on even doing leg work to open an account. It was obvious that they didn't want to and as soon as I didn't have a passport or driver's license I was turned away. No other options or background checks. Nothing just know. So I have a bank account with someone else with better rates and am doing good with my bank account. Well done Scotia if you guys really don't like your job... read more
Worst experience ever. I had a government check that I need to cash every single month I have my health card send number birth certificate renters agreements but I didn't have a driver's license. She told me to come back in 2 hours and she would have talked to her boss and let me know I came back two and a half hours later and she hadn't even done that.
