I tried to open an account at this branch and had a very disappointing experience. I booked an appointment through customer service for later in the afternoon and arrived early, only to be told my appointment had been recorded for a much earlier time and that I was considered late. Instead of trying to verify what happened or offer a solution, staff—including the manager—were dismissive and placed the blame on me. Had an appointment with Scotiabank advisor Harpreet Kau Rai to open Chequing account Ultimate package. She offered to help apply for Passport Visa Infinite too at the same time and all were done quickly. Wonderful service and very friendly.
