I visited this branch after the contact center spent over 30 minutes failing to resolve an online banking block. I hold only a credit card account and arrived with my government ID and phone, but without the physical card. The first teller (yellow hair) was immediately defensive. While I recognize physical cards are preferred for verification, pulling a client profile via valid ID should be a standard system override. I do not understand how this Scotiabank has so many negative comments. From the moment I walked through the door, I was acknowledge, helped within 2 mins and completed everything I needed to do....and then some! Sonal was the exceptional teller that assisted with my opening of an account, and asked a final question which reminded me of another transaction I had yet to complete.
