Sold a car. The buyer purchased the certified bank draft from the bank. I went in an hour later, to deposit it into my personal bank account. They held it. The banks should not be holding certified checks. They make money off of them. They should no longer sell them to anyone! They charge big dollars to certify payments.. for what? To hold. Don’t go here. This is really bad banking. Against standards.
Banked with this branch for 20 years unwilling to increase cheque holds on a business account. Switching to ATB.

We just had the most wonderful experience at this bank. I had made an appointment two weeks ago through the Central line Customer service person. Unfortunately, and somehow, when we arrived at the bank today, there was no appointment. Even though I found it odd, this bank was so accommodating! The receptionist found a senior financial advisor to accept us as a walk-in. Željka Lakich was a phenomenal advisor that we got to deal with this afternoon. Stay away from this bank!!!! Why oh why did I make an account here? After the bank confused a Thursday with a Friday they stole $1685 from my account on New Years, had my rent NSF, then returned the money to me on the 6th. Starting an investigation from this branch told me NO ONE working here has any clue how banks work and are GLORIFIED cashiers.
