My intention was never to leave a review, but the lack of help and support I’ve experienced has left me with no choice. I am beyond frustrated with this establishment. Scotiabank is by far the worst banking institution I have ever come across in my life. I have been met with rudeness, complete unhelpfulness, and a total disregard for their customers. The bank accounts will charge you a fee any time they can get the chance to, it feels extremely predatory to be banking with them. I am switching to Simplii Financial due to the stress and financial burden Scotiabank has caused me. When struggling to keep my account over 4000, they constantly charge me despite having direct deposit from my work. The workers in the place were nice, but the company will prey on your account slowly and discreetly, hoping you do not notice.
Don’t bother trying to reach Stratford branch by telephone to discuss account issues. You will just be routed to a call centre and told that you have to make an appointment.
