The branch manager lied to my face!! I took my Insurance settlement cheque to square one branch to pay off my car loan ( which is totalled in an accident). I heard before that Scotia Bank is not the greatest, so I thought this branch located in big shopping centre like that should be good enough to deposit a cheque. But they didn't know what to do with the settlement cheque. So the teller ask someone else and finally they ask the manager. Even she didn't know as if it was the first time they see such a case. I had great experiences before at this location but now the current ones are really unprofessional and poor at customer service. I did a walk-in for some investment opportunities and was asked to see one of there advisors but there advisor(Saad) is busy attending there own personal clients even when I have already been booked in for the appointment by the teller and then I was asked to wait 30-40 minutes and later when I finally saw him, he was rushing through the whole process as there were more clients coming in the next 1... read more
