If you need a bank teller you will be standing in line for at least 10 minutes every time. Not impressed at all!
Had the worst experience dealing with this bank, I get paid by check have been for the last 7 months. After I cashed my check into my account I noticed they put almost all my money on hold and never told me they were putting it on hold. I go back to the branch and was told it was because I never had a cash back limit so how come all the other times I cashed a check it was not put on hold! I call the Scotiabank online and they tell me they can't do anything about it to go back to the branch which they close at 3 pm everyday. ... read more
No fault of the local branch, it has to be a company policy but it's some hard to get any banking done when all the tellers go home at 3pm. When they are open I've always had good service.
Website says open to 5:00 p.m., showed up at 3:05 to find out tellers are closed but advisor is available. Website should say tellers close at 3:00.
