I went to the branch to make a withdrawal from my RESP, but an older female employee told me that RESP withdrawals are not handled at the branch and that I needed to call the number on the back of my card. After returning home, I called Customer Service, only to be told that RESP withdrawals can only be processed at a branch. I am extremely disappointed with Scotiabank’s service.
