Yes this branch has bad hours in a bad hood with long lineups but the Tellers were fine..I used BNS for decades and my last branch was much worse given the mgr accountability..went through BNS Ombudsman whom was anything but independent..make money on the stock,not deposits
Very poor service. Tried to cash a cerb cheque here for my dad ( he had no bank account at the time) and they refused until I showed them on the government of canada website that they have to. If I didn't know any better I would have taken their advice and gone to moneymart where we would have had to pay a large fee which the government specifically doesn't want, it even says it on the cheque itself that any bank can cash it and you don't need an account, just ID. They are either ignorant or lying. I was so mad I almost canc... read more
Branch hours are NOT reasonable. Need to take time off work to do banking. Only ONE teller working with 8 people in line and growing... at 20 miss they only served one customer. Should have taken whole day off.
