Like so many of these reviewers, I was disheartened by so many unusable activities in the facility. It was a regular part of our son's early teen explorations there 25 years ago. This was my 2 year old granddaughter's first visit. It was so changed. In addition to non-functional apparatuses, so many of the lights were out that the areas were dark, and frankly, kind of sleazy. Me and my kids enjoyed it here. Compared to other science centers, the exhibitions here are quite good, interactive, intriguing, has the right kind that we love, not really abundant but enough to be entertained for a few hours. Another upside is that it's not crowded at all, weird but it works in our favor. We thought it should be more crowded as this is a good museum.
I haven't been in forever, but I this was just one of the few places in Shreveport that I can actually say that I used to enjoy. I'm hoping to go back someday.
Tons of fun exhibits! Great food! Awesome IMAX Dome theater. Great for the whole family.
