Schuster is a family owned and oriented company based out of Northwest Iowa. Orville Schuster started Schuster Grain in 1956 with one truck hauling grain in and around Sioux City, Iowa. Orville continued to grow and expand services of Schuster Grain to include refrigerated and dry van services. The name was changed to Schuster Co to reflect the transition.

Terrible news hiring freeze but good for me. Every day forced dispatch no refused load competition with fellow drivers. Impossible freight delivery times and pickup. Specially design loads to fail dispatched late. Guaranteed service failure every time you try to deliver on time. No splits, without violations regardless or you can't trip plan these loads. It’s been 5 years. After talking to John Peters and hearing what Jeff had to say. Nothing is different those 2 could care less about the drivers. The only thing they care about is themselves. Despite them Steve Schuster will always have my respect and I would say company driver don’t ever go owner operator. And whatever you do don’t trust Jeff or John. If Gus is still there he’s a democrat.

11pm one of their drivers backs in next to me, backup alarm just blaring. After about 5 minutes of trying to get parked I'm now wide awake. Finally get back to sleep now his noisy app fires up, that's it time to move on. What a pile of noisy crap, can still hear him across the parking lot. 65° peaceful till he shows up. Hartford, SD.
