Beware: contradictory credit reporting and a “we won’t respond” attitude. SchoolsFirst FCU damaged my credit with inaccurate furnishing and then refused to engage. My loan paperwork, Truth in Lending signed January 11, 2023, sets payments due on the 25th with maturity November 25, 2023. Yet TransUnion shows the account closed February 2025 and marks May 2023 as 30 days late. I’ve been a school first member for a little over a year. I have a current credit card with them and personal loan. I received a letter saying my personal loan APR is lowered due to never missing a payment in the last year since I’ve had the loan. I applied for a debt consolidation loan recently. I stated I could pay the loan off if needed too. I have all my money/paychecks going to schools first. I move my money from navy federal to schools first.
