I just completed my 300hr in the Sacred Valley of Peru with Anita and Raquelle. What an amazing experience it was! The land itself was so healing and the facilitators held such a welcoming, supportive, and authentic space for all of us. SYI’s 200-hour mystical YTT training in Montezuma was truly life-changing! My teachers and the incredible community I shared this journey with taught me so much about myself and yoga in ways I never could have anticipated. The depth of knowledge, wisdom, and care that went into every part of the training made the experience so rich and transformative. This is an experience I’ll carry with me forever, and I can’t recommend SYI enough—if you’re considering one of their offerings, go for it!
My experience with SYI 300 YTT was amazing! I learned so much, had a fabulous experience and felt so supported by the facilitators. If you are thinking of joining a YTT I highly recommend SYI.
I completed my 200hr Yoga Teacher Training in Peru in June 2025 with SYI and had an incredible experience. It was a good balance between applied yoga, anatomy, and philosophy and also featured some added bonus experiences (e.g. shaman ceremony, tesmescal ceremony and cacao ceremony). The teachers were really knowledgeable and experienced and the host resort (Munay Sonqo) was also really comfortable.
The school is amazing. You get great teaching from thoughtful and extremely experienced and well-educated teachers who care about you as a person. You get the chance to learn from other great students, try things you’re passionate about, and just be supported as you grow. Regardless of where you are in your teaching journey, you’ll get so much.
