Very rude
Came here to get the exhaust on my car checked out. With parts and labor they qouted me $500+, scheduling an appointment for next Tuesday to fix it. I called Sioux muffler to compare prices. By a miracle they had time to check it out, fix it, and only charged me $230.. Thankfully, these guys "didnt have time" to fix it the same day.
Ben knows his stuff. I'm a technician myself and can tell when someone just throws parts at the problem. He doesn't do that and I know I can trust him to figure out whatever is going on with my vehicle.
I went there to have new muffler put on my truck, thinking that would solve my issue, he diagnosed my truck saying Yes it was in need of a muffler, but my issues were far greater then that and he wasn't going to allow me to spend the money until I made the repairs for my head gasket and lifters. I appreciate him saving me the money considering the bigger problems are far more expensive. I will return for that muffler once other repairs are made. THANK YOU FOR YOUR HONESTY.
Met Ben through a mutual friend. Best place to go in Sioux City. Honest and priced right, like in the old days. He will tell you if anything else is in need of attention, not because he’s upselling but because he knows what he’s talking about. Replaced my clunky sway bar links that were driving me nuts (they were shot). He had never worked on my truck but said a lot of shops don’t bother checking or greasing the links unless asked.
