It’s been well over a month and I haven’t gotten my reward. It took 10 days instead of 2 hours for the points to show up in my wallet - emails I sent them to follow up were not answered. It’s been more than the 15 business days that their help desk said to wait. I imagine they are trying to stretch out participants payments to improve their cash flow since I doubt sending out Amazon gift cards takes a month. DO NOT DO YOUR FOCUS GROUPS HERE!!!!!!!!!! I cannot BELIEVE how bad Sago’s treatment of research participants is since it changed over from Schlesinger. I redeemed an incentive for a physical Visa card on August 30th, only to wait and wait and find out from support that I’ll have to wait a RIDICULOUS amount of time for it, and guess what? It STILL hasn’t been processed in the MAXIMUM time frame they gave me. Since Schlesinger changed this company's name to SAGO, it has gone downhill when it comes to paying their participants. I used to be excited to get their email invitations to different focus groups. This is the largest market research company in the U.S., why is their CEO, Howard Schlesinger not addressing the thousands of complaints that their participants have been making on social media about the excessive amount of time in which they now pay participants. When I first started doing focus groups facilitated by this organization, they were so proficient. Sometimes I would even get a payment card after my session, other times it was sent within one business day. NOW, they say you have to wait until 20 business days for the incentive but the payment begins processing end of day of your session. That is UNACCEPTABLE, especially considering that they are paying with a visa gift card.
