Awful!! The worst!! The absolute worst!! Please save your family some pain and money! DO NOT HIRE THIS FIRM!! If you receive a contract notice how only YOU have obligations related to money money money. Meanwhile, the firm's obligations are very little....if any. Save yourselves! They do not care. All they have is promises during consultation, but when it comes to action, I was at the bottom of the barrel. He literally insulted me and threatened me. I could go on and on. SAVE YOURSELF!
I found about Schlegel Law Group from my work's discount legal program. After working with them, it's clear to see why they are listed there. I hired them to guide me through my divorce. A very dark and vulnerable time in my life. I thought Scott and his team would have my best interest. They did not. I was legally divorced in July, but I somehow owe child support ($1,500 a month) from back in April. That's $6,000. Thanks Scott & Jennifer for protecting and informing your client!
Law firm worked very diligently with me on my case through the process. The firm spent countless hours, days, and months on all aspects of my case. Divorce isn't a easy thing to go through but the team gave me the facts and truth throughout it all. There is a lot more I could say but my rating and recommendation would be to this law firm 10 out of 10.
There are not enough positive things to say about Scott Schlegel. I received my divorce papers right around Christmas time which as you can imagine how tough this might be especially when my now ex-wife was in Chicago with my two children at the time with my 5 year old son and 8 month old daughter who was continuously telling me she was returning and never did.
